15. Charles Barkley

"Charles Barkley told an officer following his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol that he was in a rush because he was on his way pick up a 'hot' girl for sex, according to a police report obtained by the Smoking Gun. Charles Barkley is a retired NBA legend, an NBA TV commentator, and an aspiring politician. Barkley has two nicknames: Sir Charles and Knucklehead. It's safe to conclude that when he was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and looking for a prostitute, he was acting like a knucklehead and not like Sir Charles. "'I am disappointed that I put myself in that situation,' Barkley said Wednesday in a statement to The Associated Press. 'The Scottsdale police were fantastic. 14. Len Bias
    The Boston Celtics took Len Bias with the second overall pick in the 1986 NBA draft.  He was loaded with talent and potential, and could have been a great addition to a team that already had Larry Bird.
    Unfortunately, Bias died of a drug overdose the night after he was drafted.
As a result of his death, the NBA instituted a drug awareness program for young players.
